Renowned social worker Sindhutai Sapkal, fondly known as 'orphan children's mother', died following a heart attack at a private hospital here, doctors said.
She was buried at the Thosar Paga burial ground as per the traditions of the Mahanubhav sect.
More than 100 guests, including 40 women and children, attended his birthday celebration.
